Dishes with names like Alpine Meadow, Wild River, Spring Awakening on the Hochkönig or Phoenix from the Ashes. Not one component of the mysterious creations by toque-winning chef Vitus Winkler is the product of chance. Each course is staged according to a well thought-out script. Inspired by the nature of the Salzburg region, through which Vitus roams daily.
In his restaurant 60 km from Salzburg, toque-awarded chef Vitus Winkler makes no compromises. The menu is set at short notice – using only the best ingredients of the day. And you get to have a say! Just tell us what you don’t like (e.g. offal or seafood) or can’t eat due to intolerances (e.g. gluten) and how many courses you would like. Then sit back and let yourself be surprised by imaginative masterpieces, course after course.

As a certified sommelier, Vitus personally selects the accompanying wines for his gourmet menus – fine wines from Austria and around the world.
